Terms of Use
Rhetrix LLC · Woodstock, Georgia · Effective May 25, 2026 · Last amended June 5, 2026 · Version 2026-06-05-v3
These Terms of Use govern your access to rhetrix.com and enrollment in any Rhetrix LLC program. By using our website or enrolling a student, you agree to these Terms.
Enrollment and Payment
Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable $200 deposit and a completed enrollment packet including the Participation Agreement, Emergency Contact Form, and Photo and Video Release Form. A student's spot is not reserved until all documentation is submitted and the deposit is received.
All live sessions are recorded for a private family recap video delivered exclusively to the enrolled family. Recording consent is collected separately at enrollment via a required acknowledgment checkbox. These recordings are never shared publicly, are stored securely and accessible only to the Rhetrix program director, and are deleted 90 days after the final session of the enrolled program. For full recording retention and deletion details, see our Privacy Policy.
The remaining balance is due in full no later than 14 days before the program start date. Rhetrix accepts payment via credit or debit card through Stripe's secure checkout. Summer Day Camp cohorts are priced at $750 per student. Fall and Spring Cohort sessions are priced at $650 per student. School partnership and private coaching pricing is set separately by contract.
A non-refundable card processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 is added to each charge — both the deposit and the balance — and is shown to you before you confirm each payment. This fee covers the cost charged by our payment processor and is excluded from any refund, except where Rhetrix cancels the program, in which case all amounts paid (including processing fees) are refunded in full.
Families who choose the deposit payment plan will receive an email reminder at least 7 days before the automatic balance charge is processed. The reminder will state the charge amount, the card on file, and the scheduled charge date. To cancel before the balance charge, contact support@rhetrix.com before the charge date. If the automatic charge fails, Rhetrix will notify the enrolling family by email and provide 48 hours to update the payment method before the seat may be released.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Rhetrix programs are small, capacity-limited cohorts. Each reserved spot affects other students and program viability. Our policy reflects that while remaining fair to families.
A $200 deposit is required to reserve a student's spot in any Rhetrix cohort. This deposit is applied toward the total program fee. The deposit is non-refundable in cases of voluntary cancellation or withdrawal. Requests for deposit consideration in the event of a documented medical emergency or serious family hardship will be reviewed individually at Rhetrix's sole discretion; such review is not guaranteed and does not create an obligation to refund.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to support@rhetrix.com. The date of receipt determines which tier applies. Absences from individual sessions are non-refundable; sessions cannot be made up individually.
† Medical hardship exception: Notwithstanding the no-refund tiers above, documented medical emergencies and serious family hardships may be reviewed individually for a partial or full exception. Submit a written request with supporting documentation (e.g., a physician's note) to support@rhetrix.com within 5 business days of the triggering event. Rhetrix will respond within 5 business days. Approval is at Rhetrix's sole discretion and is not guaranteed.
Gift Cards
Rhetrix gift cards are sold in fixed denominations ($325, $650, or $750) and are redeemable toward enrollment in any available Rhetrix cohort. Gift cards are issued within 24 hours of payment confirmation.
Gift cards are non-refundable after purchase. They are not redeemable for cash or credit. Gift cards are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase and may be used toward any open cohort at the time of redemption. After 5 years of dormancy, unredeemed gift card balances may be reported and remitted to the State of Georgia as unclaimed property under O.C.G.A. § 44-12-190 et seq. To request a late-redemption extension, contact support@rhetrix.com.
If the cohort a recipient selects is cancelled by Rhetrix, the gift card value will be credited in full toward any other available program or refunded in full at the recipient's election.
Gift cards are transferable. To transfer a gift card to a different recipient, contact support@rhetrix.com before redemption.
Partial redemption: If a gift card's value exceeds the applicable enrollment price after any discounts, the unused portion is retained on the gift card code and may be applied toward any future Rhetrix enrollment. Any remaining balance is subject to the same 5-year expiration window as the original gift card — the clock does not reset upon partial use. To apply a remaining balance, contact support@rhetrix.com with your gift card code before completing a new enrollment.
Gift cards are subject to Georgia unclaimed property law (O.C.G.A. § 44-12-190 et seq.). Unredeemed gift card balances — including partial balances remaining after redemption — may be reported and remitted to the State of Georgia as unclaimed property after five years of dormancy from the original purchase date.
School Partnerships
Rhetrix partners with schools and PTAs to offer programs on or near campus. School participation is free. For every student who enrolls in a fall or spring cohort through a school partnership, Rhetrix donates $100 to the partner school or PTA. Donations are calculated and remitted once per academic semester, within 30 days of semester end, after Rhetrix completes an end-of-semester audit confirming final enrollment totals for each partner school. A "semester" for this purpose means each of the two standard academic terms: fall (roughly August–December) and spring (roughly January–May). Schools hosting only one cohort block per semester receive one donation calculation per semester.
If a school, school counselor, school newsletter, or PTA recommended Rhetrix to your family, be aware that the school or PTA may receive a $100 per-seat donation as a result of your enrollment. This financial relationship is disclosed here pursuant to applicable advertising and endorsement guidelines (FTC 16 C.F.R. Part 255).
Rhetrix requires that any school, counselor, or PTA that communicates about or recommends our programs to families include a clear statement disclosing this financial relationship in any such communication. This requirement is a condition of the partnership arrangement.
Discounts
Rhetrix offers the following automatic discounts, applied at checkout when eligible. Only one discount applies per enrollment; if more than one applies, the larger discount is used.
Returning student discount (10%): Applied when the same student has at least one prior paid Rhetrix enrollment on record, regardless of how much time has passed between enrollments or which cohort they attend next.
Sibling discount (5%): Applied when a different student is enrolling and the same parent email or phone has at least one other paid enrollment for a different student. The sibling discount applies regardless of cohort timing, tracks, or program type — two siblings can enroll weeks or months apart and both qualify.
Referral code discount (5%): Applied when a valid, unused referral code is entered at checkout. Referral codes are single-use and issued to families upon enrollment. A referral code cannot be used by the same email address that generated it — it is intended for new families, not additional enrollments by the generating family.
Allowlist discount: Rhetrix may pre-authorize specific families for a custom discount percentage via an internal allowlist. These discounts are applied automatically when the enrolling email or phone matches and take precedence over the above tiers if larger.
Discounts apply to the base tuition amount. The card processing fee (2.9% + $0.30) is calculated on the discounted total, not the original price.
Student Conduct
Every enrolled student agrees, through their parent or guardian, to treat all participants and staff with respect; arrive and depart within the published drop-off and pick-up windows; engage genuinely with program activities including vulnerability exercises and peer feedback; not record or photograph other students without consent; and refrain from behavior that is disruptive, threatening, or harmful to others.
Conduct violations include, but are not limited to: physical aggression or threats toward any person; harassment, bullying, or repeated disrespectful behavior toward another student or staff member; deliberate, sustained disruption of session activities after a warning; unauthorized recording of other students; and possession or use of prohibited substances.
In most cases, Rhetrix will issue one verbal or written warning and notify the parent or guardian before removing a student from the program. Warnings are waived when a student's conduct poses an immediate safety risk to any person. In that event, Rhetrix may remove the student from the session immediately and notify the parent or guardian as soon as practicable.
Removal for conduct violations does not entitle the family to a refund of any amount, including the deposit.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Students may be dropped off no more than 10 minutes before session start. Pick-up must occur within 15 minutes of session end. No student will be released to an adult not listed on the Emergency Contact Form without written authorization from the enrolling parent or guardian received before session end.
If a student is not picked up within 30 minutes of session end and a parent or guardian cannot be reached, Rhetrix may contact the listed emergency contact or, if the student's safety requires it, local law enforcement.
Assumption of Risk
Rhetrix programs involve public speaking exercises, posture and movement drills, breathing exercises, stage positioning, improv-based communication drills, and vulnerability-based exercises including peer feedback and personal storytelling. These exercises are powerful by design and may surface strong emotional responses, including performance anxiety, distress, or the disclosure of difficult personal experiences. Participation involves inherent risk including these emotional responses and minor physical activity incidental to the exercises described. Enrollment constitutes acknowledgment of these risks, supplemental to the signed Participation Agreement collected at enrollment.
Program Modifications
Rhetrix reserves the right to adjust schedules, locations, curriculum, and program formats as needed. If a program is cancelled entirely by Rhetrix, enrolled families receive a full refund including the deposit, or credit toward a future session at their election.
Rhetrix cohorts require a minimum of 5 enrolled students to run. Below that threshold, the group dynamic that defines the program is not viable. If a cohort does not reach 5 students, Rhetrix will work to fill remaining seats from other sessions before making a final determination. If a cohort ultimately does not run, enrolled families receive a full refund including the deposit.
Individual session cancellations due to severe weather or declared emergencies (e.g., tornado watch, ice event, or venue closure): the cancelled session will be rescheduled or, if rescheduling is not practicable, a pro-rata credit equal to one session's value will be applied toward the family's next enrollment. Credits are valid for 2 years from the date of issue. Extension requests should be submitted to support@rhetrix.com.
Showcase modifications: The Friday parent showcase (summer camp) and Week 5 parent showcase (fall/spring) are standard program features held at the same venue as regular sessions. Showcases are not subject to weather-based cancellation unless the venue itself closes. If the venue closes, the showcase will be rescheduled or, if rescheduling is not practicable, a pro-rata session credit will be applied. No refund is issued solely on the basis of a showcase format change.
Drop-In Sessions
Drop-in sessions are available for the first session of any open cohort, subject to available space, at a fee of $175 per student. If the drop-in participant subsequently enrolls in the same cohort, the $175 drop-in fee is credited in full toward the enrollment tuition, the family pays only the remaining balance, not both fees. To claim this credit, email support@rhetrix.com with the student's name and drop-in date before completing enrollment checkout; the credit will be applied manually before the enrollment charge is confirmed.
Drop-in fees are non-refundable if the participant does not enroll. Drop-in attendance does not guarantee a seat in the cohort; enrollment is confirmed only upon payment of a deposit and completion of the enrollment packet as described above.
Sponsorships
Rhetrix accepts financial sponsorships from local businesses and individuals. Sponsors select a tier and commit to an annual contribution in exchange for recognition benefits described on the Sponsorship page at rhetrix.com/sponsorship. By submitting a sponsorship inquiry and making payment, sponsors agree to these Terms.
Sponsor recognition placements — including logo display on rhetrix.com, the parent portal, showcase programs, and the sponsor wall — are provided for the duration of the active annual sponsorship and for as long as Rhetrix LLC operates rhetrix.com. Rhetrix reserves the right to modify recognition formats to accommodate venue, platform, or program changes while maintaining equivalent visibility.
Annual sponsorship commitments automatically renew unless the sponsor provides written notice of cancellation to support@rhetrix.com at least 30 days before the renewal date. If Rhetrix discontinues the sponsorship program, sponsors will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of any prepaid annual commitment.
Sponsorship disputes — including disputes about benefit delivery, refunds, or cancellation — are subject to binding individual arbitration under the Dispute Resolution section of these Terms.
AI Practice Coach
The Rhetrix AI Practice Coach is a digital product available to students in grades 6–12 and adult professionals. Session packs are sold in fixed quantities (3, 8, or 15 sessions) and are processed via Stripe. Sessions never expire and remain on the purchaser's account indefinitely.
Session packs are non-refundable after purchase. Because sessions do not expire, no partial or full refund is issued for unused sessions. If Rhetrix discontinues the AI Practice Coach product, purchasers with remaining session credits will receive a prorated refund for unused sessions based on the per-session price of their pack.
AI Practice Coach feedback is generated by artificial intelligence trained on Noah Bryant's coaching method. It is not a substitute for live coaching, does not constitute professional advice, and is not equivalent to feedback provided by the Rhetrix program director in a live cohort session. A session counts toward the purchaser's credit balance after the third response or after 60 seconds of engagement, whichever comes first.
These Terms govern all AI Practice Coach purchases. No separate terms of service apply.
Intellectual Property
All Rhetrix curriculum, frameworks, content, and program design are the intellectual property of Rhetrix LLC. Enrolled families may not reproduce, distribute, or repurpose Rhetrix materials without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Georgia law, Rhetrix LLC's liability for any claim arising from program participation or use of this website is limited to the amount paid by the enrolling family for the specific program giving rise to the claim. Rhetrix LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.
Nothing in these Terms limits Rhetrix LLC's liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, intentional harm, sexual abuse, or violations of mandatory reporting obligations under Georgia law.
Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Except for claims that qualify for small claims court, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Participation Agreement, or participation in any Rhetrix program, including claims based on contract, tort, statute, fraud, misrepresentation, or any other theory, shall be resolved exclusively by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court.
WAIVER OF CLASS ACTION: YOU AND RHETRIX LLC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.
WAIVER OF JURY TRIAL: BY AGREEING TO ARBITRATION, YOU ARE WAIVING YOUR RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY.
SEXUAL MISCONDUCT EXCEPTION: Notwithstanding the above, this arbitration agreement does not apply to individual claims of sexual harassment, sexual assault, or sexual abuse, consistent with the federal Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act of 2021 (EFASASHA, Pub. L. 117-90). Claims covered by EFASASHA may be brought in court at the claimant's election.
Arbitration shall take place in Cherokee County, Georgia, or via videoconference by mutual agreement. The AAA's filing fees and arbitrator compensation are governed by the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
RIGHT TO OPT OUT: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of your first enrollment or your first use of rhetrix.com, whichever comes first, by sending a written opt-out notice to support@rhetrix.com with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" and including your full name, mailing address, and a statement that you are opting out of the arbitration agreement in the Rhetrix Terms of Use. Opting out will not affect your ability to enroll in any Rhetrix program. If you do not opt out within 30 days, this arbitration agreement will apply to you. Upon receipt of a timely opt-out request, Rhetrix will reply within 2 business days with a written confirmation and a reference number. If you do not receive confirmation within 3 business days, resend your request or contact support@rhetrix.com by phone at (770) 762-6723.
Either party may seek emergency injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration.
If any part of this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining parts shall continue in full effect.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For any claims not subject to arbitration, the exclusive venue shall be the state or federal courts located in Cherokee County, Georgia, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes affecting currently enrolled families will be communicated by email. Continued participation in a Rhetrix program after notice of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
