What happens in a Lab.
- ✓One focused speaking skill each month, taught live by Noah.
- ✓More teaching and demonstration than individual coaching: Noah shows the skill, breaks it down, and shows what changes when it is done well.
- ✓Students practice along from home.
- ✓Grades 6 to 12 together in one room, 60 minutes.
A safe room, from home.
- ✓Rhetrix does not record or transcribe the Lab. Families may not record, screenshot or photograph it either.
- ✓Grades 6 to 8 need an adult in the home for the whole hour. Grades 9 to 12 need an adult reachable by phone.
- ✓At checkout we ask for the address your student joins from and an emergency contact, so help can be sent to the right place if it is ever needed.
- ✓The private join link is emailed to the parent before the Lab. It is for your student only; please do not forward or post it.
- ✓Students join under their own first and last name. When the Lab runs on Google Meet, cameras stay on.

What parents ask about the Lab.
Is the Lab recorded?
No. Rhetrix does not record or transcribe the Lab, and families may not record, screenshot or photograph it either.
Can I get a refund?
No. Lab sign-ups are not refundable. After the Lab, each paid family gets a single-use $25 code, tied to your family, good toward any 1:1 plan, the 1:1 Starter, a cohort enrollment or a store purchase for 14 days. See the 1:1 Starter Pack.
What does my student need?
A laptop or tablet with a working camera and microphone (a phone works in a pinch). A quiet, well-lit space where your student can stand and speak out loud. Headphones help if the house is busy. Join 5 minutes early; the coach admits each student by name from the roster.
What time zone is the Lab in?
Eastern. Every Lab is the second Sunday of the month, 7:00 to 8:00 PM Eastern. If you are in another time zone, convert from Eastern.
How do we get the link to join?
The private join link is emailed to the parent before the Lab. It is for your student only, so please do not forward or post it.
How is this different from 1:1 coaching?
The Lab is mostly teaching and demonstration in a big room. 1:1 coaching is one student and me, working on that student's own speaking.
