A downloadable, printable semester. Fifteen weeks, about four hours a week: persuasion, interviewing, leading a group, and speaker study out in the wild: debate clips, startup pitches, press conferences, podcast interviews, and the student's own tapes. It ends with a ten-minute Address delivered to a live audience. The back of the book is the documentation packet: scope and sequence, fifteen measurable objectives, a standards alignment, a four-level speaking rubric, a three-point progress record, four pacing calendars, a parent-verified hours log, and a certificate. Rubrics you can find elsewhere. An hours log and a certificate you cannot. Both semesters together document the hours of a full high school credit, awarded by you. This is the course. The cohort is the room. The book will teach your student what to do. It cannot give them a room of peers, a live audience, and a coach watching their hands.
