The same system, sized for a younger student: fifteen weeks, about three hours a week, most of it in pieces that fit between dinner and everything else. Foundations in Semester One. Momentum in Semester Two: class presentations, interviewing, a first produced video, hosting, ending in a student-hosted family showcase. The full documentation packet is included, because the habit of logging the work is worth building a year before anything is riding on it. Early credit is the parent's call, and the log makes either choice defensible. This is the course. The cohort is the room. The book will teach your student what to do. It cannot give them a room of peers, a live audience, and a coach watching their hands.

The documentation
Rubrics you can find elsewhere. An hours log a parent signs, and a certificate with a student's name on it, you cannot.

This is the 2026-27 Edition. Every Rhetrix title is dated, because every Rhetrix title gets rebuilt. Each summer we take a year of real families running these pages, cut what did not earn its place, and ship a new edition with new material. Your purchase is this edition, in full, for good, with any correction we publish to it at no charge. Next summer's edition is a new book with new work in it, sold on its own. We would rather earn the next one than hand it over.
